Banking Law

Since its inception, Phillips, Dunn, Shriver & Carroll has provided local and area banks with advice on matters related to compliance, customer confidentiality and privacy act matters, regulatory concerns, deposit matters and account agreements, general contract matters, software and hardware system upgrade contracts, corporate trust matters, directors and management concerns and a variety of issues that extend well beyond representing institutions in specific financing matters.  Our banking law practice includes representing and defending lenders in asset recovery matters, bankruptcy cases, and lender liability claims.

In addition, the firm has also assisted out of state lenders in obtaining Vermont licenses and in determining and confirming whether licenses are necessary for specific practices.

Please contact David Dunn for general questions on Banking Law.
